National College for parents and carers

We’re delighted to offer parents and carers a fantastic learning opportunity to help navigate the challenges of bringing up young people in the 21st century. After speaking with families, we know the biggest concerns are safety—especially online, as young people often understand technology better than adults, and mental health, with pressures very different from those we faced as children.
To support you, we’ve partnered with The National College to provide access to their excellent training portal. You’ll receive a username and login details by email. The platform offers high-quality resources, interactive courses with video content, and certificates upon completion.
Here are two courses we think you’ll find especially useful:
  • Award in Online Safety for Parents of Children
Practical guidance on helping children stay safe online, understand digital risks, and make responsible choices when using technology.
  • Certificate in Understanding Mental Health for Parents and Carers
Valuable insight into children’s mental health, helping you recognise signs of difficulty, offer appropriate support, and know where to seek further help.
Please check your email for your login details. If you haven’t received them or need help navigating the website, contact the academy office—we’re happy to assist.
