On Friday, 14th November, the academy community came together in a heart-warming effort to raise funds for Children in Need. Pupils and staff arrived in non-uniform, each bringing donations to support the charity’s vital work. Thanks to their generosity, the academy raised a total of £79.80.

 

Throughout the day, children took part in a range of educational activities designed to help them understand the challenges many young people face in their daily lives. These sessions encouraged thoughtful discussion, reflection, and a deeper awareness of the importance of compassion.

 

Staff noted how pupils demonstrated empathy and maturity as they explored issues affecting children across the country, reinforcing the school’s commitment to nurturing kindness and social responsibility.
