Every fortnight, Key Stage 3 students enjoy attending Writers' Café, a chance to focus on creativity and storytelling. While much of English lessons rightly concentrate on skills such as spelling and punctuation, Writers' Café gives students the freedom to develop exciting narratives and unleash their imaginations. This week, Lucas impressed staff with a brilliantly creative and slightly scary story that captured readers from beginning to end. Sessions like these help students discover the joy of writing and build confidence in sharing their ideas.
