New Emergency Allergy Pens Now Available at Norman Cornish Academy

We're pleased to share that Norman Cornish Academy now has four emergency adrenaline auto-injectors (often known as "EpiPens") available on site as part of the introduction of Benedict's Law.
These emergency pens can be used in the event of a severe allergic reaction, known as anaphylaxis. Having them available in school means we can respond quickly if a student experiences an allergic emergency.
To make sure we're fully prepared, all staff have received training in recognising the signs of anaphylaxis and how to safely use an adrenaline auto-injector. This means our team can act quickly and confidently should an emergency arise.
The safety and wellbeing of our students is always our top priority. Having emergency adrenaline auto-injectors in school provides an extra layer of protection and reassurance for both families and staff.
