Year 7 Transition Evening: Building Strong Partnerships
This evening, we were delighted to welcome our Year 7 parents and carers into school as part of our transition process for new starters. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for families to see first-hand the progress their children have made since joining The Meadows Academy.
Students proudly shared their work and progress evidence files, showcasing the effort and achievements they’ve already accomplished. It was fantastic to see them engaging confidently with their parents and carers, talking about their learning and experiences so far.
The evening also gave us the chance to address any questions or concerns, ensuring that we continue to work effectively together to support every child’s journey. Strong partnerships between home and school are at the heart of our ethos of Belonging, Becoming, Beyond, and tonight was a great example of that in action.
Thank you to all parents, carers, and staff who made the evening such a success. We look forward to continuing this collaborative approach throughout the year.
